About the Book

As a response to the atomic era, Huxley put pen to paper with this dystopian novel. The year it was written emerged in 1948 as a response to the use of atomic weapons in WWII and the emerging Cold War. The con is that it isn’t pleasant as some other dystopian novels because of the reality that humans face post WWII. The new world brings the people to be ruled by evil and satanic theories. One being nuclear war for the people. The visionary of a possible future nonetheless. Scenes that depict apes overpowering humans is a flash of the novel “Planet of the Apes.” It’s all tied into the unpublished script found by two of the film-related characters that discover the script amongst some trash accidentally thrown out of a dump truck.
