The inspiration behind Blade Runner, Sheep is a novel dealing exhaustively with what is real, what isn’t real, and what the gray area in between should be considered. Deckard, a bounty hunter in a world where living animals are seen as fantastic status symbols, wishes badly for a real sheep to replace his mechanical one, so he begins to seek android fugitives to fill the financial gap. During his hunt, he begins to question the ethics of his line of work and who, if anyone, is truly real in any sense of the word.
