The Trial is a book that was written in 1914 by author Frank Kafka, but it was not released until the mid-1920’s. It tells a story about a man named Joseph K, who worked at a bank. The man is suspiciously charged with a crime and has to fight for his life to regain his innocence. Joseph has a hard time in this adventurous story because he is unaware of what crime he is being charged with. This makes it difficult for him to try and defend himself and portray his innocence among the people of the community. This is an action packed story that details a desperate man who is in need of saving himself and his reputation for a crime he is not allowed to know.
